Liz is the Director and an Accredited Practising Dietitian & Nutritionist with 20 years experience. Through various private practice, community and corporate settings, Liz has developed specialised skills for weight management and individualised nutrition counselling. Liz has a personal interest in lower carbohydrate approach to support metabolic health and has helped set thousands of clients on a path towards improved health and wellbeing. Liz can help with Meal planning individualised to your unique preferences and utilises both traditional and Non-Diet Approach to weight concern, catering from inactive to high performance athletes.

Nutritionist

Having studied Allied Health Assistance (Nutrition & Dietetics) Ymke is able to apply her knowledge and people skills to assist us to assist you! She is a valuable part of our team and is here to support you on the phone with bookings and enquiries, and also online support. Ymke is also passionate about creating useful, evidence-based dietary resources and making them accessible to our clients through consultations, meal plans, books and social media. Ymke hopes to one day complete her Nutrition & Dietetics studies and become a qualified Dietitian. Ymke is available to conduct body composition assessments using non-invasive bioelectric impedance technology (BIA) at our Tweed office.

Meet Melanie

Dietitian

ABOUT

Melanie is passionate about food and cooking. She became a dietitian to combine her love of food and her desire to help others. She has a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics from Griffith University as well as Bachelor of Health Science majoring in Food and Nutrition from Charles Sturt University. She has previously worked in private practice in the Ipswich and Western Suburbs areas, looking after a diverse range of patients, including a number of DVA and NDIS patients. Melanie enjoys helping people optimise their health and wellbeing through improving their lifestyle. She provides patients with evidence-based nutrition strategies to help them meet their goals through practical dietary recommendations and sustainable health and lifestyle changes. Her interest and experience covers a broad range of conditions including; weight management, diabetes, impaired glucose tolerance and metabolic syndrome, PCOS, cancer, gastro-intestinal conditions, high cholesterol, and cardiovascular issues. She enjoys working with people across the lifespan, from children to the elderly. When she is not at work, she is busy looking after her two young daughters, collecting recipes books and trying new restaurants. She is also busy teaching her family and friends about healthy eating!

Meet Ellen

Dietitian

ABOUT

Ellen is an Accredited Practising Dietitian & Nutritionist specialising in women’s health, gastrointestinal health and the treatment of irritable bowel syndrome. 

Ellen completed her 4-year Health Science Degree at the University of Adelaide, and then went on to complete her 2-year Master's degree in Nutrition & Dietetics at Flinders University. She is a trained Monash FODMAP Dietitian and has developed expertise in gut health and IBS management, and enjoys the area of women’s health, including skin, hormones, fertility, and pre & post pregnancy nutrition.

She loves treating all areas of women's health with a holistic and empathetic approach to practise and encourages sustainable, long-term changes rather than quick fixes. She has a focus on packages and programs in her practice to provide more ongoing, specialised care and support beyond what a 1:1 consultation can offer.

She believes a well-rounded, holistic approach to care leads to more effective and sustainable results in her clients.

We are excited to have Ellen join forces with the DNA Nutrition Group and be able to spread her message and help more people. She is currently welcoming new patients!
